And we're glad you did!

Ah, the joys of sleeping late....  just another tricky vacation day for me.  And a ho-hum start on a Monday for an '81 set. No expectations.

I'm just glad it's not 1989 and we're not reliving the quake again (I was afraid we would what with it being the 17th and all...)

Yep, thanks Beej. I spaced when Dave said the year (Monday in spades...) and Find Your Way Back doesn't trigger any particularly memories for me, good bad or otherwise, so I'm glad you were on top of it.

HM Another Tricky Day. Indeed.

It's all here on the vinyl...
Let's get right to it.

God I love that Frank Reynolds meltdown clip. "All this information!" well, yeah Frank, you're doing the news, there's bound to be a lot of information. "Speak UP!"  Lunatic fringe indeed...

Nice irony in the Hinckle lead in too!

Well, take comfort in the knowledge that your first vacay day is one of the most glorious days of the year, weather wise. Go out and enjoy it, soon as the set is over. Or maybe even before then, depending on what direction it takes.
Let's get right to it.

Sadly I'm on my way to the doctor for my annual physical :(

oo! The Magnificent Former Katrina (it was for awhile, but Dave hasn't played it in some time). Will it be uncensored? I heard Dave play the censored version of "Jet Airliner" in the 9 o'clock hour.

New BOS for the Clash.  Tough to beat in 81.  Regarding the censoring, I never knew there was a censorable part, but I heard it this time!  "Pretty fucking long, idn't it?" Great.
