ETA: I just noticed they spelled the Cat Man's last name as "Stephens" -- I corrected.

Just noted that yesterday's and today's encores are from consecutive days last August (the '82 set on Monday was from last May), so based on that we might be able to make an educated guess as to which sets we might hear tomorrow and Friday.

ETA: August 11 was 1981; August 14 was an all-Beatles set in honor of Paulie playing the 'Stick, and August 15 was 1979. So there you go.  No guarantees, but just sayin'.

Any of those would be welcome; but I'm guessing we get another '90s set and possibly a '00s , assuming the PD is picking these.

One of my top 5 Stones songs, and here's why:

Mick Taylor recalls in a 1979 interview,

"Can't You Hear Me Knocking... is one of my favourites... (The jam at the end) just happened by accident; that was never planned. Towards the end of the song I just felt like carrying on playing. Everybody was putting their instruments down, but the tape was still rolling and it sounded good, so everybody quickly picked up their instruments again and carried on playing. It just happened, and it was a one-take thing. A lot of people seem to really like that part."

also I belatedly give Annnalisa props for the double segue of Mays going deep -> "Going Mobile" (seriously, isn't that a SportsCenter standard for HR calls?) and then -> the Plymouth Duster clip.  Nicely done.
