Interesting: They were into the "F" section early today. Heard Bowie doing "Fame"... but not "Fashion."

More welcome '70s Dead: "Friend of the Devil"

LOL: next week Rosalie will be conducting "The Dead-ucation of No-Name", teaching him all about the band, which he feels is a gap in his musical knowledge,

Heard a ~8 minute remix of Billy Idol “Flesh For Fantasy” this morning. Nice.

The "I Will..." section included a DCFC twin-spin ("I Will Follow You Into the Dark" and "I Will Posess your Heart") but NOT the Beatles' "I Will", which I know has appeared in past versions.

And since we were in the "I" section this morning I'll assume that A-to-Z will run into early next week, esp if there's a 10@10 marathon on Sat in addition to Acoustic Sunrise/Sunset.

Here’s another one I’ve never heard on KFOG before (& that I’ve always requested on 10@10 to no avail) - Oingo Boingo “Just Another Day”.

But I'm guessing the Jon Secada song of the same name wasn't.

NoName likes the Lemonheads better than S&G -- so we got both "Mrs Robinson"s

Methinks that was more filler than anything else.  The S&G version ended at 9:58, and they really never start 10 at 10 early, do they?

...but then again they played both the original and the Mambo-fied version of "Clocks" on Tuesday (guilty pleasure, I like the latter better).

Who knows?

Yesterday I heard both the Goo Goo Dolls cover of Give a Little Bit and its Supertramp original version.
Let's get right to it.

You are correct. The only song I’ve heard so far that struck me as out of format (not that I would mind a couple more of them) was Dirty Vegas “Days Go By."

I'll take "Most Unnecessary Covers Ever" for $500, Alex!

Was in the car, punched up KFOG and they were playing "Pink Cadillac". I said, "Pink Houses" is next. And it was! I'm a genius!

My favorite A-to-Z moment was about ten years ago; they played White Bird -> White Rabbit -> White Room.

They certainly are zipping through the alphabet this time.  I got in the car to run some errands
today and they were just starting the P's with the Stones' Paint It Black.  Ninety minutes
later they were already up to Porcelain.
