BRIAN DENNEHY | FRIDAY MARCH 11
Actor

In conversation with RAY TALIAFERRO, KGO Talk Radio Host

Dennehy is a two-time Tony Award-winning actor, honored for his performances in "A Long Day's Journey into Night" and "Death of a Salesman." His career has also extended to television and the silver screen, having appeared in Never Cry Wolf and Tommy Boy and garnered Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild awards as well as an Emmy nomination. Dennehy is poised to star in a performance of "Trumbo: Red, White and Blacklisted," at the Post Street Theatre in March. In "Trumbo," Dennehy will be appearing as Dalton Trumbo, the legendary screenwriter of Roman Holiday and Spartacus who stood up to the House Un-American Activities Committee in 1947 and was subsequently thrown in prison and left vilified and blacklisted by Hollywood.

Almost worth calling in sick for.

Dennehy as Trumbo? interesting... he's quite the opposite of Trumbo, physically (see Dustin Hoffman's Trumbo anecdote in the current EW).
