news report on Madonna --> the Lords of the New Church's cover of "Like A Virgin" -- isn't this the 2nd time AL's played this since her return?

I gotta say, IMHO this is one of the snooziest (non'90s) sets she's done since coming back.

Yup. And teasing Madonna then playing this joke cover seems very high school.

Glad I heard the Cure. Too bad I heard Tom P and that Madonna cover.  I remember her playing it before and it was bad the first time.  Some jokes don't age well.
