Kinks "Sunny Afternoon" is  abit on the LN side but I'm not complaining.  This has been quite a wonderful half-hour.

The Kinks "Sunny Afternoon"

one for the new royal parents, perhaps?

If ever a set cried out to "go to 11" it's this one, but hey, you takes what you can gets.

Perhaps some criticism Renee might actually listen to would be "make it 35 minutes minimum, regardless".

OMFG: The Cyrkle. "Turn Down Day", uber-BOS5.

I hear the Cyrkle were Jerks (heh).

Never heard this song before (and I'm old enough) -- wow!!

their follow-up to "Red Rubber Ball" (made it to #16 Pop)

I'd never heard it either until a couple years ago -- the local oldies station (which, btw, seems to have risen from the ashes and is back on the air as of a couple weeks ago) used to play that one (and Red Rubber Ball) semi-regularly.
Let's get right to it.

it was probably a bigger East Coast hit than elsewhere (they were from PA) and I heard it often as an oldie on WABC and later 'CBS-FM.
