Mon 7/30/12: 1993

aaack.  Urge Overkill, Gin Blossoms, Pearl Jam, Aerosmith, U2, Cranberries, Percy.

BOS Matthew Sweet, "The Ugly Truth".

Van the man and John lee Hooker re-doing "G-L-O-R-I-A".

"Plant Me" by Suddenly Tammy? NTM.  Kinda nice. I spent time on both coasts in August of '93 and I never heard this song in either place.

Sweet Dreams are made of 'trinas; the Police are in "Synch" (I).

every girl crazy 'bout a sharp-dressed 'trina.

Saved by

eeek: WOS Zebra, "Who's Behind the Door"  These guys got zero (heh) airplay in NY; I didn't hear them until  Dave played them on 10@10. I coulda done without.

Burning down the 'trina. Damn, Rob is usually better than this.

uber-LN: SRV.

BOS this Newmark & Lewis commercial (they were a local NY electronics chain).

LN2: "China Girl"

LN3: "1999"

BOS2 the Alarm (or "U3" as we used to jokingly call them), "The Stand".  But this was not a very good sendoff before my vacay, Rob.
