RIP Jesse Morris (Punk Rock Johnny Cash)
« on: November 08, 2011, 11:37:07 PM »
If you passed through any of the downtown Muni stations with any regularity over the last 5 years or so you probably ran across this guy, in full punk regalia, mohawk and all, just wailing on Johnny Cash and other great country songs. I remember seeing him busking in the Montgomery St. station a number of times prior to my leaving SF in 2008. Not sure exactly how he died, but apparently he did so, last weekend. Sad.
