WED 9/7/11: 1994

eek: STP, Counting Crows, Crapton, Stones, Floyd.

But hey there was also Cracker's "Eurotrash Girl" and Mazzy Star and Love Spit Love.

BOS droopy-pants Armstrong, "Basket Case"

Grant Lee Buffalo's "Mockingbirds" is a rarity, no?

turns out AL played it once in a '94 set -- and twice as a '94 "bonus track" in the Morey era.

Rob in his element: Graham Parker, Squeeze, Elvis C., RLJ.

Unnecessary: Cheap Trick, wanting you to, well, you know.

Ah may be totally wrong but uber-BOS Zappa, that "Dancin' Fool". You must be a Libra!

Fri 9/9/11: 1971

Macca has a pot o' pie. or something.

Ms Baez drives Dixie down, ABB are in Hot 'Lanta  and the Guess Who do a rain dance. Where'd'ya get the gun, John?

Rev Al is tired of being alone. I alwyas thought the line "tired of on-my-own" was "tired of growin' my own".

damn, I really never need to hear Lee Michaels ever again. Knowwhutahmean?

OMFG: the theme from NBC Sunday Mystery Movie!  Henry Mancini, I believe. BOSFRA.

BOS2 Stephen Stills' little-heard "Marianne"

Since Rob's sets' are month-specific, at least 2/3 of these were in Casey's Sept '71 chart this week.  But BOS3 Ms King anyway. I'd rather spend Friday being close to her.  Unlike Casey, Rob plays the complete 7-minute "Won't Get Fooled". Ah know that the hippies eyes hypnotized never lie.
