indeed, BOS6 and if AL played the Barbara Acklin vocal I'd just plotz.

(tho' Dusty and Swingout Sister did fine versions too)

not actually redone -- this was the actual backing track from the Barbara Acklin version, which Young-Holt Unltd played on.

I realize the Box Tops came way before TA&D, but the arrangement is a similar kind of honky-tonk/barbershop.  Listen to those backup vox at the end...  not that there's anything wrong with that.
