interesting comment on SFgate:

I grew up in the south and to me Lynyrd Skynyrd mostly represents the celebration of ignorance and stupidity. I can relate and I am sure they were actually pretty nice guys and obviously talented and likely pretty smart. But, that flavor of Americana is not what I'm into. The south has a lot of great things to offer, but the celebration of redneck stupidity is not one of them. Example, watch this at your own peril: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hos8Buwd4WE

btw: here's what might happen if you watch the video:  you will see 20 seconds and  think you are fascinated, then you'll realize you are horrified and cannot watch any more.
