LNG/KPOO/KCDX etcetcetc for the week of 9/20/10

JJ plays the Dramatics, "The Devil is Dope" -- a fab anti-drug song that's 10 times better than "King Heroin" (and much easier to dance to).

ETA: actually, JJ is off today, we're getting pre-recorded, announcerless soul. Still fab. "Leaving Me" by the Independents is another lost gem.  Followed by my all-time fave, the Chi-Lites "Stoned Outta My Mind" which I gushed about recently.

WOW -- 'LNG plays Frankie Valli's orig version of "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Any More".  Bob Gaudio says it's his favorite of all the songs he's written (and that's a lotta songs).

It was new to me at that time.  Glad I heard it, though I wouldn't rank it quite so high.  Mike, have you ever compiled your favorites into an ordered list?  (Have any of the rest of you?)
