Yes!  BOS Pulp, "Common People," marvelously scathing.  Everybody hates a tourist!

This Etheridge song has the same big riff as U2's "Hold Me Thrill Me," no?

OMFG.

BOS1 to John Hiatt.  One of my favorites.  BOS2 to Pulp.

VHM's to Melissa Etheridge and U2 solely for being underplayed songs by overplayed artists.  Seriously I don't think I've heard that Melissa song since it dropped off the pop charts.

WOS to Deep Blue Something.  Although I probably wouldn't mind it that much if it wasn't nearly as popular but it was soooooo overrated.  They actually have other songs that are quite good but 99.8% of people have never heard of them.

& I'm going to pull out the DHM for Dionne Farris.  That did not deserve to be #1 for 9 weeks, but at least it's still not overplayed on every Hot AC station like Deep Blue Something.

That Newman song is meh, but I'm giving it a free ride because that's another one I haven't heard in 15 years...in fact the only time I've ever heard it on the radio is on the Sunday Morning Fox Kids Club Countdown!  :o

Wow, that's an anniversary I haven't thought about in years. Mine is around now too--perhaps the 22nd?, but much earlier--about 28 years ago. I do remember I saw Asia at the Warfield on their first tour of the US that night. Kind of disappointing though. The only time I saw that band live.
Let's get right to it.
