Dynasty: "That oil rig disaster"...

How timely. Timeless, even.

RE: "Dynasty," this item in today's news:  Most expensive home for sale in America
The late Aaron Spelling left his wife a palatial L.A. estate, and it could be yours for only $150 million.

Apparently today is Star Wars Day, as in "May the 4th be with you"

I'd've gone to cool places with Russell Mael.  Except for the fear that Ronald would tag along.

I'm assuming tons of ATBBs today...

Yep. Six out of 10. The ZZTop song, and then tunes 5 thru 9 inclusive. Very sweet set.
Let's get right to it.

Caught up last nite -- a mixed bag for me. Uber-BOS to the Alarm tune; haven't heard that in years and it's just killer. And BOSes to Oingo Boingo and Sparks/Wiedlin (tho' "All You Ever Think About is Sex" would've been even better). But the ZZTop and Rank & File were both NTM and easy WOSes. The ZZT is completely generic (I thought it was Sammy Hagar at first) and the R&F line "No she can't cook, but she's got something good to eat" might've amused me if I'd been 12 in 1983... but I wasn't.

And what was up with the Tracey Ullman? it sounded slightly "off", like it had been speeded up a bit on a turntable. Odd.
