when Yes' "Leave it" drove me away from DDT, I got a couple of rare treats on CG: Alan Price's rocked-up version of "Hi-Lili, Hi-Lo" from the mid-'60s, which I'd never heard before, and David Soul's "Silver Lady", which was a Brit #1 -- unlike here, he was a 5-hit wonder in the UK.

i was listening to 104.9 Xfm (london) earlier, and they mentioned david soul sometimes sings 'siliver lady' at karaoke night at some bar. i really think (hope) they were joking. hose wacky brits.
