I was amused by that as well.  And 15 minutes before that, a near-instrumental from Mocean Worker.

Gaz, do you agree that the Mocean Worker cut is an awful lot like US3's "Cantaloop" (if not a blatant rip-off of same)?

well, thank YOU for confirming that I wasn't imagining things. The irony is that KFOG never played "Cantaloop" back in '94. Understandably, I suppose, as the audience back then would've deemed it "too hip-hop". Times change!

On a different note, I'm off to Seattle in a short while, probably hear today's set while driving over to OAK.  Back late tomorrow night.  I am invited to the Microsoft XBox 360 Summit, their big roll-out.  Urth, I have to imagine there will be a contingent from CNet there as well.  And Gaz, you remember meeting my friend Steve, I'll be crashing at his house tonight (but not his houseboat).

Cool! Give Steve my greetings!  Very cool guy.  Also, if you meet a Microsoft guy named Geordie Wilson, tell him I said hi (I met him in my sole visit to the MS campus; he gave me an extended demo on the then-latest iteration of Windows Media Player for Digital Music Weekly).

Hmmm. I suppose we may have someone there, although it's more likely someone from our sister site, Gamespot. We did give the 360 some big coverage in our E3 (big gaming trade show in LA) package a couple of weeks back. Anyway--have fun up north & check in here when you can.
