WOS Tracy Chapman. It's been all downhill since the first LP IMHO.

One more BOS for Lou Reed's Dirty Boulevard. Three appearances prior to this one, and it's won the BOS vote in two of them.
Let's get right to it.

Bustout of set: De La Soul!  They should have had several Top 40 hits, not just this one.

I'll always give a BOS vote to TFF's Beatle pastiche.

A few rappers still have interesting things to say - Lupe Fiasco, Mos Def - but sadly, they don't sell well at all.

3/11/10 Thursday!! A well rounded set from...1989!!

  1) Roy Orbison- You Got It
  2) Del Amitri- Kiss This Thing Goodbye
(News: DC Call Boy Ring)
  3) XTC- King For A Day
(George Bush: I'm The president & I won't eat broccoli!)
  4) Replacements- I'll Be You
  5) Bob Mould- See A Little Light
(News: Exxon Valdez)
  6) Chris Rea- The Road To Hell (Part 2) (B.O.S! tie)
  7) Tracy Chapman- Crossroads
(TV: Seinfeld)
8 ) Lou Reed- Dirty Blvd. (B.O.S! tie)
(Movie: Do The Right Thing)
  9) De La Soul- Me Myself and I
 10) Tears For Fears- Sowing The Seeds Of Love

I was interrupted and missed the "DC Call Boy Ring" clip -- but i saw Bill Maher talking about Eric Massa and he said "I don't think the *vatican* has as many repressed homosexuals as Congess does"

wow. not a bad set with Bob Mould, XTC & De La Soul.  I would have flipped out for each of those.  And I would have I'd Bob Mould pomptly because I own and recently re-listened to that song on Rhino's MTV 120 Minutes compilation.
"Music is the Earth, People are the Flowers, and I am the Hose."
