Guess wishing just wouldn't make it so. Heard that singer-songwriter Vic Chesnutt passed away earlier today after an overdose of muscle relaxants.

After a day of "is he dead or isn't he?" reportage on the web (the Spinner article linked above has been refuted and then updated), it appears now that Vic Chesnutt really is now dead.
