The longtime wrestling manager, who also oversaw the careers of Cyndi Lauper and NRBQ for a time, died of undisclosed causes.

Our band does "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" which always makes me think of the scene with Capt Lou, especially now that I'm a daddy with grownup daughters.

he was fun in the videos, but I always thought I was missing something.  I didn't understand how or why he was famous, but that's part of the Wrestling S.O.P:  Act big and famous and you'll get big and famous. 

but if Cyndi Lauper was his buddy, then he must've been all right.

.... Well, except for those rubber bands hanging off his face.  WTF was that about?
