WOS2 the English-as-a-2nd-or-3rd-language of A-Ha.

If you think their non-native-English-songwriting skills were bad then, you should hear (or do everything to avoid) their new album...just about every song on it even makes me cringe.

LOL @ the comments for today's set.  After two weeks of (mostly) archaic suckiness we finally get a set chock full of the type of songs that make me LOVE this show!!  ;D

I wasn't too crazy about Queen and agree that Journey gets WOS, but everything after that gets a BOS or VHM.  The perfect set to listen to while driving back.  Especially when Safety Dance came on followed by Drive, that was exhilirating.

BOS's (in order): Cars, Men Without Hats, TFF, Mac, A-Ha.  HM Winwood, Robert Palmer, Men at Work.

I'll actually give "Safety Dance" a VHM -- not one that was overplayed by Dave.

who's gonna drive ya home?

Well the MW/OH was a rarity in the Dave years, 1 of it's 3 appearances was in a Turkey Day set at my request, so I give it BOS #1.

Since this set isn't getting anyone too worked up, here's a couple of M3S using songs we've already heard to liven up the hour:

Queen - Another One Bites The Dust
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Higher Ground
Sweet - Ballroom Blitz

Cars - Drive
Beatles (Yay!) - Something
Heart - These Dreams

Queen - Another One Bites The Dust -  "Steve Walks wearily down the street.."
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Higher Ground  (they prob mention Stevie Wonder, but I can't place it...)
Sweet - Ballroom Blitz -  "Are you ready, Steve?!"

BOS Men Without Hats, WOS Journey

I don't think there's any other 80's act that has depreciated as quickly in my mind as Steve Perry and company.
