Is this Jimi? "Waterfall"? New to me.
Have you never seen Singles? Esp. with your love for Seattle I'd have thought you must have at some point. It's on the soundtrack album.
There's a scene where Campbell Scott is playing records for Kyra Sedgwick in his apt., and when she admits little or no knowledge of Jimi, he says, "You have to listen to this," and then plays this cut 'live' in the film.
Later in that scene Jane's Addiction's "Three Days" can be heard, but I guess it was too long for the soundtrack, too bad.
I confess that I haven't seen Singles. And my love for Seattle is really only based on ... 4-5 trips taken to Bumbershoot for only 3-4 days max. And we typically only stay/explore around the Seattle Center where the festival is based. Oh wait -- we also walked or took the monorail to/from Pike Place on various occasion, of course.
Should we go back and stay longer or see other things? Absolutely yes. Do I really really want to see Storm Large some day live? Hells yes. Will this probably not happen if we have two kids in tow? Well, I do have a family friend up there that could probably babysit.
