Heellooooo!  HM to the mention of Lloyd Lindsey Young, i never got tired of watching or listening to him

When LLY was in NYC in the '80s, he was pretty much a laughing stock. Somethin's just not right with that guy. Awful -- like fingernails on a blackboard.

'zackly.  He made weather fun.

seriously? no one in the Bay Area found him creepy?  he's obviously, um, crazy, no?

Is "Blue Monday" a bustout?  It doesn't seem like it would be, but I'm looking at mshray's archives since 1999 and the only New Order song he's played is True Faith  :o

Yes, I found him very creepy, but that was part of the fun.  I was amazed whenever he came on to do the weather, b/c I thought for sure someone at the station would eventually catch on to just how weird and rambling and strange he could be.  not that he was mentally ill, but he def was coming from a different weather system than most meteorologists.

Listening on the replay & digging 1983.  Annalisa's doing a fine job with one of my most memorable years.
