15 May 2009: 1990
« on: May 15, 2009, 09:37:22 AM »
after a quite good week of classics that went 69-77-83-73, we would seem overdue for '90s today...

ETA: yup. Jellyfish to start  I'm off to 'LNG. This is the 3rd or 4th 1990 set in the last 2 months.  Maybe there are more of those to choose from in the KFOG db, but c'mon.

But today your observations are dead on! And the King is Half-Undressed.

Two possibilities in the DB, neither of which look too exciting. (Sex Packets, anyone?) What's KSWD got to offer?
Let's get right to it.

Talk about being unclear on the concept.

Seems that the Sound has 90s on the brain, too. They've played Radiohead's Creep and now an Aerosmith power ballad--death to Diane Warren!  Looks like we have a choice of bad or worse today. Still, the possibility of the unknown has me leaning toward LA.

indeed, The Sound hasn't done a '90s set since April 2nd (1990, and it was very Moreyesque), but I'll be interested to see what (if any) surprises Larry busts out.

a rather clever segue from Roseanne slaughtering the Nat'l Anthem into the barking dogs, imho.
