"Silver, Blue & Gold", BOS #2.

for my money Bad Company was better at this rock ballad kind of stuff than the strict hard rock-cum-pop stuff.

In any case this is my favorite song of theirs, followed closely by "Seagull".

maybe my fave BC song too, despite that ugly silver album cover. (This was from that LP, yes?)

From Run With The Pack, which was silver and had a drawing of a wolf-bitch suckling her brood.

And guess what, the release date is shown as January '76.  Chalk one up for Bob!

fwiw, we could also hear Parsons in this set, their great debut album Tales Of Mystery & Imagination came out in '75, and I reckon it was more popular in Chicagoland than maybe some other places (it sure got ample airplay in St. Louis).

I do believe that was a '76 release, but it's a great LP and I agree, Bob's far more likely to play it than Dave.  Got quite a bit of NYC airplay too.

No, it was released in '75, but like the Boston album the next year it stayed under the radar for months before picking up steam.

I thought '75 seemed early -- I remember playing "Young Blood" (the hit off of it) at my college station and I wasn't on-air there until '76.
