Tuesday, 4/28/09: 1994

Gloria Estefan -Turn The Beat Around
Green Day -When I Come Around
Mariah Carey -Without You
Crystal Waters -100% Pure Love
Live -I Alone
US3 -Cantiloop
Pretenders -I'll Stand By you
Stone Temple Pilots -Interstate Love Song
Ace Of Base -The Sign

Much closer to how I remember '94 than anything Dave's ever done. Note: they orig misspelled Gloria's last name as "Estephan". Interns are the same all over!

Soft Cell -Tainted Love/Where Did Our Love Go
Michael McDonald -I Keep Forgettin'

OMFG -- *major* kudos on the Melissa M.; I love that piece of ripe '80s cheeze.  An ATBB worth savoring. Kudos on the Buckingham, Ray Parker Jr. and George Benson's "Turn Your Princess Around".

That Ray Parker song has a great riff.  I just heard it a couple of weeks ago for the first time in many years.  Better on the guitar than people remember.

Thurs 4/30/09: 1986

Bruce Springsteen -My Hometown
Peter Gabriel -Sledgehammer
Wham! -I'm Your Man
Human League -Human
Janet Jackson -When I Think Of You
Madonna -Live To Tell

Kudos on the Janet, who has (amazingly) never been played by Dave, and the forgotten Rod Stewart track.

Agreed on the Janet - growing up, the opening to that track always connoted careless June days of waking up with no demands.

But I would have BOS'd Wham's "I'm Your Man."  Another karaoke success story.
