Let's have Zebra and Bears for Thanskgiving dinner!~

I like this song, BOS!!!  take that!
I like it too, even though the Bears are not my friends.

Bears are not Stephen Colbert's or Elvis Costello's friends either, as anyone who watched his special last night knows.

I missed it but I suspect CC will rerun it a gazillion times in the next month, as is their SOP.

It had its moments but was way too self-aware (how many times can someone look at the camera with feigned amazement?).  Willie Nelson's appearance amounted to a four-minute pot joke, and Feist actually stole the show.

Yay for the Honeydrippers, "Rockin' At Midnight" for the bonus track.  I would have held out for "Young Boy Blues", but I'm to lazy to try and call in for the quiz.

I only heard tunes 7-10 in the car, seems like I got all the good stuff (I'd a gone BOS fro U2 & HoJo plus VHM's for Thompson Twins & Pretenders)

Here's the totality of Dave's Howard Jones spins in the Db:

January 13, 2004 - 1989 - The Prisoner
September 25, 2006 - 1984 - What Is Love?
July 3, 2007 - 1985 - Like To Get To Know You Well
November 12, 2007 - 1985 - Like To Get To Know You Well

So he's never played "Life In One Day" much less "No One Is To Blame".  I woulda thought a guy like Dave would love him some HoJo.

Especially knowing his jones (no pun intended) for Nik Kershaw, who I always saw as a HoJo clone.  But we've heard both those tunes from Ginger in the past, haven't we? Definitely "No One..." if not both.

My other fave HoJo track, "You Know I Love You ... Don't You?," would be an ATBB.

Just caught up with Tim Goodman's review and he said just the opposite -- he thought it was very funny and says Feist sang "the weakest song of the night". (The original tunes, BTW, were co-written by the ubiquitous Adam Schlesinger, whose Cry-Baby recently closed on B'way.)
