a preponderance of relative rarities makes this one of Dave's best '84 sets in some time.
Yes, good set, really brought back memories of living in Princeton, NJ '84-'85.

And to top it off Annalisa really only gave the quiz winner one choice:  The Smiths "How Soon Is Now?"

(which Dave has only played once)
"Music is the Earth, People are the Flowers, and I am the Hose."

when the 1984 convention was happening, my shop was right around the corner on Folsom St, where LuLu's restaurant now resides.
[going back to my rabbit hole now]
are there "Deadheads for McCain"? Wonder what *their* logo looks like?
I made an announcement on my GD list about the Dead reforming for an Obama benefit in Pennsylvania on Oct 13, and got some angry email from a McCain supporter that his SYF stickers were incompatible with his McCain stickers on his Jimmy pickup truck.  So no, I don't think there's any broad based GD/McCain group!

BEST OF SET:  The Smiths – How Soon is Now

Shouldn't this say "Bonus: "?  Intern mistake or Freudian slip?
