I just tuned in; but I thought that was the Strawbs?

BOS2 Strawbs.  This would appear to be the same Labor Day set we've gotten the last 2 years, but as it's one of Dave's best (and most political) sets of the year, no complaints from me.  BOS3 Randy Newman.

Strawbs: "Part of the Union"

BOS to JL's "Working Class Hero."  Green Day charted a year or two ago with an inferior cover.

BOS2 to the clip of Michael Moore's Roger and Me.  That one minute is a perfect indictment of American oligopoly and GOP-infused hypocrisy.

Take This Job and SHOVE IT!  Great line, though the tune's ultimately a broken-heart song.

You read my mind!  I've always said "TTJ&SI" was a great political title wasted on a non-political song. (A *good* non-political song, but still)
