That snippet of a song about a "Mechanical man" was new to me -- WTF?

BOS2 Hollies, playing with older boys and prefects (er, well, "Carrie Anne" is, anyway).

Damn! a BIG BOS3 to this Spencer Davis rarity: "Somebody Help Me". Kudos, Bob!

Followed by BOS4, Steve Winwood's new band, doing "Dear Mr Fantasy".

BOS8 Animals, "When I Was Young".  Wish someone'd play the Tina Turner cover in an '80s set.

Wow. We close with "Light My Fire", the only thing approaching an overplayed chestnut. An amazing set from Mr Stroud.

Ha! Bob said the same thing in his backannounce!

Meeting at 9 -- enjoy Ginger (I'm feeling a '90s year from her).

You nailed that one.  I've never heard of "When I Was Young," and likely won't get to hear the replay tonight ... ah well.  :/  My BOS woulda gone to the Doors and "Heroes & Villains."

I'm really going to try to listen to the replay on this one.  Of course the "overplayed chestnut" is running away with the voting.
