a fab half-hour on Saturday's CGSS, including Prince, "The Most Beautiful Girl" (if only Dave'd play this in a '94 set!); Eddie Kendrick's "Boogie Down" (the looong, "Watergate" version); Cerrone, ‘Supernature’; Barbara Acklin, ‘Am I The Same Girl’; and Junior, ‘Mama Used To Say’.

OMFG!!!  Barry Scott introduces me at long, long last to Ray Stevens' "I Need Your Help, Barry Manilow."  Genius!

I am SOOOO glad you finally heard it!  Very clever indeed, Dale Gonyea is the name of the guy who wrote it (a comedian/songwriter back then).  "I wish I didn't have to feel [BUM! BUM! PA-BUM-PUM!] so yuckyyyyyyyyy!"
