I may not have time to check this out until after I get back from vacay, but for soul fans, this looks like a promising stream:

Judge plays that Farrakhan/Mike Wallace clip, followed by the Iselys' "Fight the Power".

4 Tops, "7 Lonely Nights" -- one for each Room of Gloom, apparently.

Judge is in rare form today. Pointers, "Betcha Got a Chick on the Side" -- the (How) Looong version!

last thing before leaving today, I'm listening to CG's retro-chart from March 1988, featuring Rick Astley's comments (he was at #2).

But check out the variety in this top 20:

03. () Bomb The Bass - Beat Dis
04. () Vanessa Paradis - Joe Le Taxi
05. () Billy Ocean - Get Outta My Dreams, Get Into My Car
06. () Coldcut Featuring Yazz And The Plastic Population - Doctorin' The House
07. () Eddy Grant - Gimme Hope Jo'anna
08. () Morrissey - Suedehead
09. () The Primitives - Crash
10. () Mel And Kim - That's The Way It Is
11. () The Bangles - Hazy Shade Of Winter
12. () Erasure - Ship Of Fools
13. () Belinda Carlisle - I Get Weak
14. () Taylor Dayne - Tell It To My Heart
15. () The Sisters Of Mercy - Dominion
16. () Derek B - Goodgroove
17. () Taja Sevelle - Love Is Contagious
18. () Eddie Cochran - C'mon Everybody {1988}
19. () Tiffany - I Think We're Alone Now

07. () Eddy Grant - Gimme Hope Jo'anna

biggest treat of the day, Eddy Grant with the catchiest anti-apartheid anthem ever. Never did anything in the US, but it should have.

CG's all kinds of confused on their website. The front door says Paul Coyte is on the air right now. When you launch their player, you still see Mike Sweeney's pic under the "On Air Now" header, but when the stream actually launched, it's none other than Dean Martin on the air.

Whatever. I assume Greg is on in 20 minutes--they must be on daylight time in the UK by now.
Let's get right to it.
