No No NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! not this annoying Dawn Penn song -- A Morey fave and (I'm guessing) one of the bigger '94 Katrinas at this point.  How big a hit was this?

get crazy with Katrina-Wiz! VHM Beck, but this is a more-than-usual suspect at this point.

Whenever I hear this song (which I still like rather well) and Beck gets around to the line "he's choking on the splinters", the way he gives that a little extra saliva I always flash on Animal House, and Niedermeyer going, "A Pledge Pin!!!!!"

But BOS2 Lisa Loeb and her Nana Moskouri glasses.

I *wish* Dave'd play Boyz II Men...

Got my vote. Otherwise pretty much typical 94. Too much work to comment more.
Let's get right to it.

No, "Ready For Love", or whatever it was called (see subject).  And of course I was too focused on work to pay attention to the back-announce, so I still don't know? ???

Me neither!  Not from that list, anyway.  Must have been though -- sure sounded like a boy band.

well, the lyrics would seem to match:

Heaven help the fool
That walks though my door
cause I decided right now
Im ready for love
Ready for love

Lenny was tired of sounding like Jimi that day, so he listened to some New Edition.

BOS to the Lenny Kravitz, which I thought deserved to be a bigger hit (I felt the same way about AYGGMW), and VHM to the Seal and Lisa Loeb.  Pity that her desire for fame continued long after she'd run out of ideas.
