Sometimes, you're better off BOS2.

There are some who deem this the first #1 rap single.

So "Rapture" doesn't count?

Their stance is that it was a sung song that happened to have a rapped bridge.  I happen to consider "Rapture" the first #1 rap single.

A third camp opts for "Ice Ice Baby."  I feel bad for them.

I respect Jackson Browne's political commitment. But that doesn't mean his late '80s songs are, y'know, good.

BOS4 PSBs -- one of the great debut singles, and the start of a brilliant career.

brilliance on display in the line "from Lake Geneva to the Finland Station", a reference which I doubt 5% of listeners caught (present company excluded of course).

Color me 95 - I have no idea what that line referred to.

Is this Jackson Browne or David & David?

UH!  Prince gets in touch with his feminine side.  Problem is, he wouldn't stop touching it.

This "Soldier of Plenty" is one of the better ones, though, and yet another bustout in this set.  Unheard of!

BOS5 Prince!!  Dave has really made up for his lack of post-"Rain" purpleness in the past year.  Act yo' age, mama, not yo' shoe size!

one Vladimir Ilich Lenin, in exile in Sitzerland in 1917, was given a so-called "sealed train" by the German government to cross Germany & go back to Russia.  The Krauts clearly hoped Lenin's return would create political unrest back in Russia, which would help to end the war on the Eastern front.  Lenin arrived to a tumultuous reception at Finland Station, in Petrograd (later Leningrad, now St. Petersburg), and 6 months later Russia exited the war.

Rosalie's bonus track takes a serious dive from the quality of the set: Winwood, Higher Love.
Let's get right to it.

Ha! Beat me to it!  Any '86 with 3 bustouts is truly one for the books. Kudos to Dave (and whoever has put him in a good mood lately).
