Not a great year, but all is forgiven with Living Colour's "Open Letter to a Landlord," which I missed last time someone played it.
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

Indeed -- I looked at the just-played list and thought "Moreyesque" -- and then this came on. BOS.

"you can tear a building down
but you can't erase a memory"

but wait -- '88? not '89?  Somebody bring me some wat-ah!

I'd've said the same thing -- Wilburys? Living Color? and  "What I Am" was DEF an '89 charted single.

and here's a major late'80s Narada for me: Rhythm Corps. Rob and Ginger seem to remember it; I'd never heard it until a few years ago.

Is that to be delivered in a Paul Lynde voice?
