RIP Luciano Pavarotti

Of pancreatic cancer, at 71:

http://www.cnn.com/2007/SHOWBIZ/Music/09/06/pavarotti.dead/index.html

Macabrely, the "we recommend" links at the bottom for me at this time led with: "Pavarotti due to be released from hospital."  I don't think that's what they meant.
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

pancreatic cancer often afflicts people who abuse substances like cocaine.  And it is one of the most painful forms of cancer there is, so it's not really anything to joke about (but I guess I kinda did).
