What'd he have to say about Barry Levinson and Diner?
Oddly, it didn't get mentioned. He talked about
Heaven's Gate, Body Heat, Rumble Fish, The Pope Of Greenwich Village, Year Of The Dragon (another Cimino film),
Nine 1/2 Weeks, Angel Heart, Barfly, The Thin Red Line (in which his part was apparently cut) &
Once Upon A Time In Mexico. He liked all the directors except Schroeder, and while taking responsibility for his own actions which nearly landed him permanently (in his phrase) "on the shelf", he spoke about how political the movie business is & what a shame that talented people like Cimino & Eric Roberts are "on the shelf".
