It's Only Rock & Roll (But Let Me Roll It).

Nice Stones/Wings 1-2 punch.

Yep, Todd covered Mighty Love on his A Capella album in the mid-80s.
Let's get right to it.

There's a Stream o' Consciousness thread on it, called the Casgle Thread.  Check it out.

The un-ID'd track was Heartsfield, Shine On. Not anything I remember ever hearing before. And a pretty great set overall.

06/25/2007 - Monday... Today is.....a Mystery Year!!! (answer at end).

1.  Cat Stevens - Ready
2.  Hues Corporation - Rock the Boat
3.  ELO - Overture/Can't Get it Out of My Head
4.  Genesis - The Carpet Crawlers (BEST OF SET!!)
5.  Bobby Womack - Looking for a Love
6.  Heartsfield - Shine On
7.  Spinners - Mighty Love
8.  Rolling Stones - It's Only Rock & Roll (But I Like it)
9.  Paul McCartney - Let Me Roll it
10.  George Harrison - Dark Horse

BONUS TRACK:  Roxy Music - Out of the Blue
Let's get right to it.

It gets my BOS, easy.  Breakout for me as well.  I would have sworn Stephen Stills was involved.  (Speaking of, I hear a Manassas comp is on its way.  Should I investigate beyond "It Doesn't Matter," which I really dig?)

I can't hear a Spinners song any more without thinking of you.  A ha-ha-ha-ha-happy sound!
