This "Have Another Hit" is unsettingly creepy, ghostlike in the way its vocals are recorded.  Who is this?

Speaking of creepy and 1970, I finally saw Gimme Shelter in its entirety this weekend.  Yow.

Quicksilver, "Fresh Air".  They did some great stuff.  Glad you finally saw GS -- Yow indeed.  In the summer of '71 or '72, NYC's Channel 5 decided to go after the youth market by showing rock-oriented stuff on Sunday nites in prime-time (which was not all that common in those days). They showed a Stooges concert (!) one week. And another week they showed GS, pretty much uncut -- and this was only a year or two after its theatrical release, which was also unusual back then.  Anyway, I remember watching it with my mom, and the look on her face when Tina Turner makes love to that microphone... priceless.

Ah, "Let It Be," one of my favorite of Ringo's performances and a late-'70s sledgehammer for me (I saw the titular movie on HBO, IIRC).
