Speaking of Earth Day, did anyone else hear the Occasional Scoop this morning?  He was great!!!  Of course he's always great.  He's what I miss most on the current KFOG morning show...

Yeah, that was one of his better ones.  Were you listening during the previous 20 minutes when he was invited to comment on the demonstrations surronding the Hayward teachers' strike & then a Foghead called into say how he hated Scoop & thought he needed to grow up & realize that the 60's are over?

(fwiw the caller who said his kids were in preschool in Hayward & was totally defending the protests was me)

Song #3 was new to me.

Me too.  Anybody know who that was?

The lead singer's voice was VERY familar.  Train? Luce? Guster? Something in that vein.

How did the song go?  I didn't hear it at all.

Cool, that was you eh?

Yes I heard all those callers also, including the guy who said Scoop should stick with this bong water, or something...  What a jerk!!  Anyway, glad you called in about that issue -- I agree with you.
Now I'm eight bits...

No, Dave, it wasn't cheezy -- it was quite beautiful.  Quite a good week all around.

I'll be "oot 'n' aboot" today, heading out to Clement St for a Chinese dumpling pig-out lunch.  Yum.

Annalisa's trivia question: What year was the first Earth Day?

Somebody actually guessed "1989".  Oh, those wacky Fogheads...
