Right, and Mad Love was Linda Ronstadt's "punk album"...

I knew.  Actually I would say in 20/20 hindsight that it was the Stones CBGB album, but not necessarily punk.

imho, the bold tunes are very much in the CBGB vein (Tom Verlaine more than Richard Hell, though, except the last one)
