have we ever heard the Russ Ballard orig of "Winning" on any 10@10?

BOS2 Kurt Russell, the one and original Snake Plissken!! (they're doing a remake with Gerard Butler of 300, ya know).

BOS3 "Unguarded Moment".

Tune #2 was Santana's "Winning", on which I think Alex Ligertwood comes as close as anyone to sounding just like Steve Winwood.  I actually prefer the Russ Ballard original, but I swear every time I hear the Santana version it takes me half the song to remember that it isn't Winwood.

As I've said many times, this is my favorite song in his solo archive.  Thanks Ginger!
