BOS George MacRae, "Rock Your Baby", a fabulous HW "KC" Casey composition/production.

Wow, I didn't know he had anything to do with this, but I can sure hear the similarities now that you mention it.

The original plan was for KC to sing it himself, but it was out of his range, so he magnanimously gave it to George.

Will try to catch this replay tonight.  Especially if Dave sizzles light with Emma Lean to close.

Eagles sounding not too bad today. I can't say I've always felt that way about this song.

"Stagflation" clip into Billy P's "Nothin' from Nothin'"--segue of the day.
Let's get right to it.

After their very successful debut, their 2nd LP, Desperado was critically acclaimed but a commercial disappointment. So there was a lot riding on On the Border. But the first single, "Already Gone", stalled at #32 and the follow-up "James Dean" missed the Top 40 altogether.  The label then released "Best of My Love" (against the band's wishes, iirc) and it was their first #1.

OMFG! "Juniors Farm"!!! BOS4 for Macca's best single. Let's all chip in for a bag of cement!

My BOS for Paul also, I actually emailed it in...
I wouldn't say it's his best single (he had so many), but still sounds great.

And thank god for that -- I loves me some Hot Choc, but "Emma" is a godawful song IMHO. (It's really just "Honey" with a better guitar part.)
