I like this song a lot, but isn't it interesting that 30 years ago Clapton sounded (chose to sound) gruffer and grittier than he does today?
"Music is the Earth, People are the Flowers, and I am the Hose."

Oh thank god. I assumed the first tune was EC, then when the second started, thought they were playing an all-Clapton set but forgot to kill the stream. Much relieved.

And BOS1, Genesis (when they were good), Squonk. (Which reminds me, I heard talk that Genesis will be reforming and touring again some time this year. Guess there's a whole generation out there just dying to hear "Land of Confusion" while sitting in a baseball stadium.)
Let's get right to it.

Ginger goes for Thin Lizzy's "Boys are Back..." (whereas Bob played "Jailbreak") and duplicates Bob on the Dan's "KC".

Ginger's cribbing from Bob--first T'in Lizzy (you know that's how an Irishman would pronounce it, don'cha) doing a different song, then an encore of Kid Charlemagne from the Dan.

Burton Cummings, next, please?

Jeez, this is getting ridiculous--four identical artists, three of whom are doing the identical songs.

BOS2, JB, Here Come Those Tears (which appears to be getting no love whatsoever in the DRV "Best in Show" poll, btw).
Let's get right to it.

Anyone care to wager whether or not we hear '76 from DM today? It's been about 4 weeks (12/5) since we last heard a new '76 set (although there was a classic on the 18th).

BOS3 Ry Cooder, Smack Dab in the Middle. Has Dave ever played this?

I can't recall DM ever playing this Cooder.  BOS for -- finally -- some originality!

I'd say a '76 trifecta is not out-of-the-question.

I missed the ID of that movie clip -- anybody?
