Didn't find out about this until now; he died Dec 14th -- he was the original Lionel Jefferson on All in the Family and The Jeffersons, but he also was a co-creator of Good Times.
Not to be confused with Damon Evans (no relation), who took over the part of Lionel later in the '70s.
