day-um! BOS3 Dr Buzzard!

What the heck is this?  The tune reminds me of "Glamour Profession".

ETA: Steely Jinx!!!

exactly!! it's the music and the melody of the verses.

I think it's a Monty Python song.  Didn't she say "feche la vache"?

i could have sworn she said, "fishy fishy FISH!"

And it went  wherever I...did go???

dunno about anybody else, but I lost the Board for a good 10-15 mins.

Save it for a Chaka Bray!

and for gawd's sake, the Dr Buzzard song is "Cherchez la Femme" and Dave's played it numerous times -- at least once before this very year.  But I'll have to listen to "Glamour Profession" again to see if Becker & Fagen are plagiarists.

Sounding almost soulful there.  Pretty good stuff.  And yeah, the board was down for me too.

That's really an amazing record.  Really beautiful, but unfortunately badly overplayed.

Still no laptop at the new job, so I when I realized it was after 10 I ran out to the car to listen on the radio, and caught the last half.  Wish I'd heard the FMac tune, and further wish I'd been there to ID the Dr. B tune for ya, as I recall the second time I heard it I, too, was all confused until Mike reminded me that we'd had the same discussion some months before that date.
