KINK 8/9/06: 1996? 1997?
« on: August 10, 2006, 08:05:21 AM »
I'm honestly having trouble identifying the year here.

Hooverphonic : 2-Wicky
Matchbox 20 : 3 A.M. CD: Yourself or Someone Like You
Paula Cole : I Don't Want To Wait CD: This Fire
Sublime : What I Got CD: Sublime
Chris Isaak : Think Of Tomorrow CD: Baja Sessions
Sting : Twenty Five To Midnight CD: CD Single
Wallflowers : Three Marlenas CD: Bringing Down The Horse
U2 : Staring At The Sun CD: Pop
Oasis : Wonderwall CD: (What's The Story) Morning Glory?
John Mellencamp : Just Another Day
You spin me right 'round, baby, right 'round

the Oasis is definitely '95, but the Sublime came out in '96, after Brad Nowell was already dead.

I was just about to say as much.  But the U2, I think, was '97 (wasn't SATS the followup to "Discotheque," also from '97?); and I associate the Paula Cole with '97, but that song had such a long chart span that it could probably qualify under three years.
