BOS Mr Joel, with the Dom Perignon in his hand and the spoon up his nose.

I've probably already told this story here, but when I first started hearing this song as a kid, I had no idea what cocaine was or how it was ingested, so I thought "a spoon up your nose" was just a silly party trick like "a lampshade on your head."

Oh well, sorry I didn't get to hear BM,BD; I love that one too.  Foreigner were great when they weren't worshiping Bad Company.
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

Please, please... no "Thunder Island" this time.

next worst thing(?): "Dreadlock Holiday"

I know I'm alone out here on this one, but I like "Dreadlock Holiday".  I don't pretend it's real reggae, it is what it is.

Not quite alone. It's not my fave 10cc song, but most anything that has Graham Gouldman's fingerprints on it is good by me.
Let's get right to it.

Chas Jankel agrees with you -- he stole part of the melody for "Ai No Corrida", recorded by Quincy Jones a couple years later.
