KINK, 7/13/06: unkown theme Thursday

Okay, I give up & am starting a separate thread here.  Tina is asking the rhetorical question, "What's Love Got To Do With It"?  Or what does "It Don't Come Easy" have to do with it for that matter?  Got me.

she's followed Tiny Dancer with Tori Amos, "Silent All these years" -- some kind of piano connection?
next up: Jimmy Cliff's "I Can see Clearly Now" cover. I'm stumped now.
"Orinoco Flow" stumps me even further...
the janitor in me feels like sending some posts to a KINK topic!
Be my guest...
It was more of a hint than an offer!

Sorry, I started it, didn't feel like switching back-and-forth between 2 threads. Next time.

Actually I started a thread for today.  Seems only you & I are dual-tracking today.

In addition to the above, we heard "Knockin' On Heaven's Door", "Son of a Preacher Man" & now "Young Americans".  I have to admit that I am puzzled & totally hooked.

"Cocaine" is tune #10, so we'll find out in about 3 minutes.  I cannot even hazard a guess, can you?

No idea that Eric Clapton wasn't his real name.

Tori Amos named herself after the Torrey Pine????  That little nugget says something about her, but I'm not sure what.

ha! never would have guessed that. i don't much care for it as a theme, though. it would be like watching a retrospective on screen actors of the 40's who once worked in theatre.

Inessa sounds like quite the music-trivia buff from the back-announces I've heard the past couple days.

Maybe she likes golf?  Torrey Pines is a real famous golf course.
