From Gorillas to Whales.  All we need now is "Wildfire" or "Mr Jaws" for an animal trifecta!

VHM, Beck's She's a Woman. Nice tune, but not the best on the album, imo.

Hey, the last two days I haven't been subjected to an ad from the Boulder Ford dealer, or Gargantuan Homes, or the local Baptist offshoot when I click the "listen now" link--just straight into the stream! Nice!
Let's get right to it.

Had to take a 15-min phone call & almost got off in time for the movie clip.  That was most certainly John Houseman, but what was the flick?  Something about 'use the program to announce your retirement'?

Great little guitar solo (Don Felder, iirc) embedded in a screachy, otherwise forgetable, song.

Least necessary of set: One of These Nights.

Wish I'd heard the Springsteen or the Dylan instead. Grrr.

Was that John Houseman in that movie clip earlier? Took me a second to remember his name--all I could think of was "the guy from the Smith-Barney ad."

ETA: I see Mark has indeed confirmed that to have been Houseman. No idea what the film was.
Let's get right to it.

Dang, totally forgot that Houseman was the personification of Corporate Evil in that flick.

And the president's daughter who had a writing credit on One of These Nights?

Patti Davis, offspring of Ron & Nancy, who was canoodling with Bernie Leadon at the time that album was recorded.

I remember an exchange involving her in which someone (can't recall who, alas--Mike, a little help?) observed, "You've got a nice ass for the president's daughter." She shot back, "I had a nice ass before I was the president's daughter."
