Some unintended amusement from Deep Tracks this morning: they played ELO's "Mr. Blue Sky" followed by "Let's Work Together" -- as a result, all I could think of was how much ELO's "Don't Bring Me Down" totally ripped off LWT.

every time i hear the little feat version of "sailing shoes" i wonder how robert palmer was able to come up with his arrangement (i'm assuming little feat's version appeared first). amazing!

ddt is jamming this morning! van's "i've been working" into traffic's "gone, gone, gone." i've never flown from l.a. to london, but i always thought the flight lasted longer than eight hours.

Maybe they were on the Concorde?  I flew from London to SF last year -- 11hrs.  Or maybe in First Class it only feels like 8 hours.  Felt like 50 in coach.
